Powell, who was a Navy electronics technician during World War II. After the war, Harold started selling components from his garage in response to the burgeoning post-war demand for electronics parts. Since then, the company has established an unbroken record of success as a specialty components distributor. Today, we are a national company with a global reach, representing the most respected manufacturers. We employ a staff of over 200 people at 11 U.S. locations, 2 International Offices, and utilize state-of-the-art technology. Powell Electronics is persuing the adoption of SPE Ecosystem parts into the Ag market and has partnered with the SPE to continue to present this SPE Ecosystem to the AEF for components on the new High-Speed ISOBUS (CAN-Bus) on Ag vehicles globally.
